Excessive Painful Bruising05/21/2009 |
I am a 18 year old female and have been experiencing a lot of bruising on my thighs and calves. I have about 10 on each thigh and 5 lower down the leg.I get lightheaded every time I get up from sitting down. I also hurt easily when someone holds my arms. Feel bruising on my side but no signs. Should I be worried?
It is really difficult to say very much over this forum which is quite limited. What you describe may be normal, but I cannot tell without first being able to interview and examine you. I would encourage you to contact your primary care physician and be evaluated, and if necessary, referred to a hematologist.
