Gums are white, raw, and painful feeling06/04/2009 |
I recently went to the dentist to have a tooth filled, he filled the tooth but after that the tooth became very painful and my gums began to turn white, painful and raw filling. After that I later went back and had the tooth extracted and my gums from about 5 teeth from the back and all the way to the back are still very white looking, painful and raw feeling. It has been over 3 weeks since the extraction and the hole that the tooth was in is nearly healed up. My question is why are my gums in this condition, my husband has had several tooth extractions and his have never done this. It`s been over 6 weeks since it began. Thank You For Your Help.
You should have your gums checked by your dentist. You need to brush and floss them even if they are sore.
