I have a small white spot on upper gum06/18/2009 |
Hello,I noticed several months ago while flossing my teeth a white line or spot on my upper gum that starts from the upper red to the pink part of the gum. The spot is painless and not raised. I have an appoinment with the dentist in two weeks. At the appointment, I will raise the issue. However, in the interim, I am still concerned about the spot. I understand that the best way to determine what I have is to see my dentist. That said, I was wondering if anyone has an idea what this spot could be.
Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately, without additional details about this white spot or line, it is impossible for me to provide much help. If it has not changed much in several months, though, it is unlikely to be a significant problem. I hope that eases your mind as you wait for your appointment.
