Strain on the Tongue

06/18/2009

Question:

After some strenuous cunnilingus with my girlfriend, I put a lot of strain on my tongue. With all the friction on my lower teeth, I ended up cutting into the lingual frenulum. The cut ended up bleeding a little. Is this type of cut/injury likely to cause any problems even after healing, such as infection, nerve damage, etc.?

Thank you for your time.

Answer:

It is not likely that you caused any permanent damage.
