Fluoxetine and Xanax07/07/2009 |
Hi dear doc.I was prescribet to use Fluoxetine 20mg in the morning and xanax 0.5 mg in the evening but i still don`t see any improvement since two weeks i started i lost my appetite and now i can`t sleep well eventhough i feel sleepy. this is the third time I`m using this kind of medications. first time it was successfully and the second time also but now .....
please give me any idea about this situation.
This is quite a normal regimen and in fact it has been successful for you in the past by your account. The recurrent nature of your depression may mean that it
- may work given time,
- may need a reevaluation of the doses of these medications, or
- is time for a reevaluation of this regimen depending on the details of your case.
I would contact you physician and reevaluate dose and time first, along with any changes in your medical status.
