Numbness with MG
I`ve been told that Myasthenia Gravis does not cause any type of pain, but only muscle weakness and fatique. Is it possible for MG to cause numbness in extremities as a response to cold?
I agree with your doctor. You really need to come up with another explanation for numbness in a patient with MG. It is not a direct effect of the disease. Pain can be an indirect effect of the disease. (For example, neck weakness might aggravate existing arthritic conditions.) Other explanations should however be sought. Best of luck.
