Penicillin reaction08/14/2009 |
I am taking pennicillin for a tooth infection. I have severe osteoarthritis in my shoulders and have noticed more than usual pain and stiffness in my shoulders. Nothing in my routine has changed except taking the pennicillin. Is there a possibility I am having some type of reaction?
Your current joint pain is not related to penicillin. However, if you develop hives or other skin rashes while you are taking penicillin, joint symptoms can be associated.
