laser pens/pointers and use in treating sinus

Question:

I have been advised to purchase a cheap laser Pen and press the output point to the sinuse bone where it joins the nose. Is this a known treatment for sinusitus or is it a dangerous practice?

Answer:

This is not an accepted treatment for sinusitis, or for any other nasal or sinus ailment.
