Red bump next to uvula10/14/2009 |
Hello, Over the past few months I have noticed a small red bump near the uvula, it seems to have a head like a pimple sometimes. It is located eacastly at the start of the flap of skin that covers the tonsil. SOmetimes I Can feel this bump but othert times don`t. It seems to enlarge and then sometimes flatten out a little. I am worried about what this is. I am a 28 year old male smoker (quiting) I am afraid of the big C word. I did go to a doctor a while back and he did not say anything about it. Any thoughts or experiences? Thank you for any help.
Without seeing this lesion, I cannot comment on what it is. I would recommend seeing an otolaryngologist.
