Chewing tobacco, type 2 diabetes and sugar09/08/2009 |
Is there sugar in chewing tobacco and how does it affect someone who is either diabetic and/ or diabetic?
As it turns out, I answered this question in 2002 - and it was one of my best researched NetWellness answers ever! If you search the old Netwellness questions with the search terms "diabetes and smokeless tobacco" you can see that question and response. the bottom line is that there is quite a bit of sugar and it can make a big difference.
