Is muscle pain usual with MG, I am currently taking Mestinon
Myasthenia gravis causes weakness and this can lead to pain in some patients. For example, if a patients has trouble holding their head up because of neck weakness, they can have more neck and shoulder pain. If a muscle is overused and fatigued it can have more pain. Of course, there are many things that cause pain that are completely unrelated to myasthenia gravis. It's important that you check with your treating neurologists to have your pain evaluated.
