What is Youngest Case of Gall Bladder Attack?09/24/2009 |
My daughter is 15 yrs. old and has experienced all the symptons of a gall bladder attack. the first time she had an attack was 4 months ago. we took her to the doctor who said her gall bladder was producing too much bile. I treated her @ home with raw, grated beets mixed with flax seed oil and juice of half a lemon. Also gave her green soup-celery,zucchini,parsley &green beans. It helped and she felt better. Last night she experienced another attack & was in excruciating pain. I feel she is too young to have her gall bladder removed but I`m afraid to go to my doctor in case he recommends that or puts her through some embarrassing test at such a young age
I would have her evaluated by a GI (gastrointestinal) doctor. She may need an ultrasound of her gallbladder to see if there is a problem.
