Vaginal pain at week 27 of preg.

Question:

I have been having alot of vaginal pain and im only 27 weeks preg. i dont know what it is, i dont know if i should be worried or not.

Answer:

A certain amount if upper vaginal discomfort can be normal and even some occasional sharp shooting pains would not be unusual.  If the pain is worsening or associated with uterine cramping or vaginal bleeding you should contact your OB provider.
