Anal fistula10/14/2009 |
I had a cyst after my delivery(2yrs ago) that end up to anal fistula. I want to do surgery,seton, is it good idea? how long it takes? shall i do it? i scare! please help me. I am in pain, that i had it for long time
A Seton keeps the external portion of the fistula open so that infection cannot accumulate under the skin. Occasionally it is done in the office, but often requires anesthesia to be placed.
