Can Blurred Vision Affect Visual Thinking?
I am 59, and I have epiretinal membranes slowly clouding and distorting my eyesight vision ... and now I seem to be having something like executive dysfunction at work as a custom fabricator because my "visual thinking" also seems proportionally blurry. My left eye is optically corrected to 20/20 but is still distorted, and my right eye can only be corrected to 20/40 with much greater distortion. Do you know of any such connection between someone`s actual vision and visual thinking (in pictures)? I thank you for considering my question.
This is a fascinating question. Although I am not familiar with any reports of such, I suspect that distorted vision could lead to problems with visualization (i.e. "using the minds eye").
