Pulmonary Hypertension and Bronchitis11/11/2009 |
I have mild PH for 2 years now. I have had bronchitis four times since March 2009. Can PH make it easier to get bronchitis?
No, PH does not increase your risk for bronchitis. The most common risk factor for bronchitis is tobacco use. Other risks include gastroesophageal relux disease ( heartburn ), exposure to irritants, or lowered immunity. You may want to discuss this with your doctor.
