Calcium Supplements, Vitamin C Supplements

Question:

I have been taking Synthroid and Norvasc for about 10 years. I am now taking Vitamin C supplement (250 mg) and Calcium Citrate supplement (500 mg/day). I am told not to take these together. How should these be taken with my current medications?

Answer:

Calcium citrate and vitamin C will not affect your medications Synthroid and Norvasc. You can take the vitamin c with your Synthroid and Norvasc in the morning and take the calcium at dinnertime or bedtime.  Thank you for visiting NetWellness.
