What are steps to treat renal colic and renal stone?
That entirely depends on the size, location and chemical makeup of the stone. If the stone is small enough it may pass only by increasing fluid intake, pure uric acid stones can be disolved by alkainizing the urine wiht medication. The provider needs to obtain appropriate X-rays(usually a stone protocol CT and a plain abdominal film). Then a treatment plan can be started.
