HIB vaccine12/29/2009 |
Does a healthy teenager need to get vaccinated against Haemophilus influenzae type b if they did not have the vaccine during childhood?
The quick and efficient answer is "No". The healthy immune system of most older persons can effectively fight HIB infections; the immature immune systems of infants cannot.
