Question:

im 46 female and for the past 3 months ive been having bleeding problems.first 3 months ago i had a ten day period, the next month i was 2 weeks late, and this month i had a 5 day period, stopped for 5 days and started again and so far have been bleeding lightly for 13 days not sure what might be going on here.

Answer:

At age 46, you may beginning to experience changes in your cycle due to perimenopause.  Many women have cycles like they never had before, and that are not predictable.  I recommend that you keep a "diary" of what you are experiencing for a couple of months, and then take it to your health care provider to discuss.
