Diverticulitis12/29/2009 |
I am 36 years old and I have had diarrhea for 6 weeks. I also have stomach pains. The pains have gotten worse so I went to my doctor today. He told me that I either have Diverticulitis or Chrones. I am also dizzy he told me that I am dehydratedd. He is going to treat for Diverticulitis first and if that don`t work then go ahead and test for Chrones. He gave me two medications Coproflox and Metronidazole. From what I understand they are both anitbiotics. Is that a normal treatment for Diverticulitis to be on two antibitics.
These are good antibiotics for either diagnosis.
