Gum Diseases |
Minor Sore Gum01/19/2010 |
i have a tooth where the gum gets a little sore and a little swelling occures in the cheek area above it but i can chew on it eat nuts, popcorn and everything else it will swell up for 2 or 3 days and then go away for 2 or 3 days and i can feel a pimple at the base of the tooth, i do not have any large pain just a little.
Sounds like you have a periodontal abscess becoming activated time to time. You will continue to have bone loss underneath your gums if you do not receive treatment for it and you may end up loosing your tooth. I recommend you seeing a periodontist.
