Toothpaste Science Experiment01/26/2010 |
I`ve read many of your Q&A on which toothpaste removes stains best (science experiment using eggs). I`ve chosen to hard boil eggs (thinking they`re easier to brush!) My question is do i have to leave the eggs at room temp or can i put them in the frig (leaving the eggs out would cause them to rot?) - what changing effect is there (if any) being room temp or cold?! Thank You (4th grade)
If you wanted to use a method closest to the mouth, I would keep the eggs at room temperature since the temperature of the mouth is even higher than room temperature.
If that does not matter, than refrigerating them would be ok. I do not know of any research (effect) on stains in the mouth as far as temperature. Most studies are done either in the mouth or at room temperature.
