Strange Body Parts Turning Blackish03/16/2010 |
Hi there I was wondering if you could throw any light on some symptoms that I am literally unable fo find any other information about.I am 30 with the illness M.E. I have been mostly housebound for 10years. Just before developing the condition when I was very active I remember my feet going a blackish colour when I had been swimming.
Since the onset of my condition every time my feet aren`t elevated they turn black, there is absolutely no discomfort and as soon as elevated they return to normal. I have seen a doctor for 4 years who has now discharged me, with the on going advice to become more active. This isn`t entirely possible due to the severity of my M.E. condiition but I try to do steps when possible. What is strange and what I have never mentined to anyone else due to embarrassment is that when I`m standing my nipples also go a blue-black colour as do areas of my genitals, both which resume to normal healthy colour when i am laying down. I have no idea what this is. I can only assume that as I am so used to laying down (whereupon the blood pools) the body doesn`t have to pump as hard to get to the areas and thus struggles when upright. Do you have any insights. Many Thanks
