Fiberglass Insulation and Dust01/31/2010 |
Sir/Madam, I have been told that I have an unusually large amount of dust in my house as a result of my fiberglass ceiling insulation. On the other hand, I think the dust is kicked up by three people (including an active 10-year-old) living in a small house, in and out all the time. I find it difficult to believe that fiberglass insulation can cause common ordinary dust. I would value your opinion. Thank you for your answer.
Fiberglass used for insulation that is contained within walls or ceiling materials is generally safe and does not contribute to ordinary house dust.
