Damon System02/05/2010 |
I`ve had conflicting opinions about the Damon System. One orthodontist calls it the "demon system" because of the damage it does to roots/bones/teeth. The other swears it`s the latest and greatest technology. What`s the real story?
They are both wrong. Damon is a bracket system that moves teeth. The "Damon Bracket" locks in the archwire with a little door rather than an elastic loop. The roots of the teeth cannot tell the difference between a Damon bracket and any other bracket.
