Throat/diaphragm not working properly02/10/2010 |
I had treatments for cancer. I am free of cancer, but somehow my diaphram doesn`t work properly so I cannot breathe well. Can I have the diaphram replaced? What options do I have to fix this problem? Thanks
Thank you for your question. While you cannot have your diaphragm replaced, there are some options available to improve your diaphragmatic function. It is first important to discuss with your caregiver the primary cause of your diaphragmatic dysfunction as the options for treatment depend on the underlying cause.
