Adenocarcinoma-Colon Cancer02/16/2010 |
I was diagnosed in Nov. 09 with Cancer. My oncologist thinks it is colon cancer. I have had CT scans, endoscopy, and a PET scan. The source of my abdominal tumors cannot be determined.I am undergoing chemo now since Dec. 09 every two weeks to try to shrink tumors so surgery can be performed.
The treatment is Avastin,Eloxatin,Leucovorin,and 5FU.
I am wondering if I have other options since it is stage 4.
There are multiple options for patients with your stage of cancer. The treatment you are currently receiving is one of standard options. If it works, then no need to change.
