IgM MGUS02/18/2010 |
Mgus diagnosis with IgM only. In three months went from 600 to 737. What number should I worry about before it is cancer?
Answer:
There is no absolute number that says that the MGUS has progressed over to waldenstrom’s or myeloma. In general, there is more concern when the level goes to greater than 2,000, but there are many additional factors that need to be considered. I would encourage you to discuss these issues with your regular physician to get a more complete answer in the context of your own clinical circumstances.
