Esophageal Cancer |
Stage IV Esophageal Cancer02/25/2010 |
My grandmother was diagnosed with Esophageal cancer in September 2009. It is February 2010 and the cancer has already spread to her liver. I was wondering what her life expectancy can be if the cancer is spreading this quickly.
Life expectancy can be very variable in this instance. The cancer is not curable at this stage, but potentially treatable if her oncologist determines she is a candidate for it.
