Since Comtan is quite expensive in the U.S., do you have any idea when it will become in Generic form? My husband has PD and started using Comtan with his Carbo/levo but will be in the Medicare "Donut Hole" sometime this year because of its expense. He has PD for 10 yrs and this has been very helpful. We would not want to give it up during the year.
This question is best for the pharmaceutical company. Comtan may be already generic in other countries. For more information, please see the links below.
