I hope to be seventy nine April 9th. I`d like to know how many people, like myself, are over the age of seventy?

Answer:

According to the most recent census data conducted in the year 2000, there were 25,458,208 people living in America over the age of 70.

There were 16,600,767 people living in America over the age of 74.
