My mom had type 2 diabetes. She takes a tablet once a day. She also has lymphoma. My mom just got out of the hospital because her hemaglobin dropped to 6.5 and according to a CT scan her right lung has changed. The doctor put her on predninsone and her sugar has shot up. Is this normal?
