Strange Heart Beat03/11/2010 |
I have been getting a strange heart beat. About every 30 seconds I can feel my heart beat. Like a very strong beat. Then it goes back to normal. I have irone def. anemia and my doctor told me that I have no iron left in my body and he put me on two iron pills a day. Can the strange heart beat be cuased by the anemia?
I do not know your age – these “palpitations” could be benign in a younger individual, but ominous in an older patient. Depending on your age, you also may want to see your doctor about these palpitations and have them evaluated to make sure there is nothing wrong with your heart.
For information about arrhythmias and iron deficiency, please consult the link below. Best wishes.
