I have very long , hard nail. I feel that I cut my gums very deeply to the point where I chipped my nail. My dentist is away for the month. What suggestions do you have? My upper cheek hurts but it is not swelling. What should I do?
I would first call your dental office and ask who is covering emergencies for your dentist while he/she is away. You may need to seek another dentist.
