Armpit Pain03/18/2010 |
I am a 34 yr old female and I have pain in the armpits when touched. I don`t know if it is fat, or an extra muscle, or something serious. Could you help me please?
Most often pain in the armpits is due to the sweat glands or lymph nodes in that area becoming swollen or infected. If the pain continues, it would be best for you to have an examination. In the meantime, applying a warm moist washcloth in the area 2 to 3 times a day can sometimes help relieve the pain.
