Delying your Period for Travel Reasons.

03/22/2010

Question:

Hi, I am 55 years old and still having regular periods. I am travelling overseas for 6 weeks. This will be an active holiday, bike riding, walking, and attending my son`s wedding. My doctor has prescribed Primolut N so as I won`t have a period during this time. Is it OK to take continuously for around 50 days. The leaflet with the medicine talks about regulating your cycle but no info on stopping menstruation for a long period of time.
