Carb/Levo: Best Taken How with Food?03/19/2010 |
I have just switched to carbo/levo from MiraPex and my dosage is 2 tabs 3 times a day. I have heard of various best times to take the medicine as into regards of food like breakfast or lunch. What is your opinion please.
Neither the standard-release nor the extended-release formulations of carbidopa/levodopa are significantly affected by food. Absorption is very slightly improved when taken with food; however, you may take carbidopa/levodopa tablets with or without food, however you prefer.
