Gynecology

Shortened Period

03/24/2010

Question:

Good Afternoon.

For about 8 months now I`ve noticed that my period is becoming very short in terms of the time the bleeding lasts. Normally my period would come every 26 days and last 5 days..now I`ve noticed it still comes every 26 days but it lasts no more that two days max.... The first day of bleeding is normal but by morning the next day there is hardly any bleeding to speak of and the next day (day 3) is just brown spotting.

I`m 31yrs old...could you tell me what the problem MIGHT be

Thanx
