Typical Length of Time for Reaction to Occur?

04/08/2010

Question:

What would be the expected length of time after taking a dose for an allergic reaction to occur to a medicine? If one drug (day 8 of 2-daily dose Amoxicillin) was taken at 10pm and another (infant Tylenol) at 8am with hives beginning to appear by 830am, what would be considered the more likely culprit of the reaction?
