Black Spot (Non-Moving) on Eye04/29/2010 |
For several years I have a black spot on my eye, after several years I have one on the other eye. No pain, does not seem to affect my vision, what could this be?
I cannot make a diagnosis without examining you. It might be just a harmless freckle (ocular nevus); but it also might be something more serious, like eye cancer.
Please see your eye doctor for a definitive diagnosis and treatment option(s). That person will be able to assess your entire medical and ocular history and will then perform a comprehensive eye examination (with pupil dilation) to give you the answer you need and deserve.
