Chlaymidia Transfer

I have been with my partner 4 years and have a young son. My girlfriend told me she had Chlaymidia and said it could have been dormant in her for years. She had some pills to take from the doctors and so I went to get some. I asked if I could be tested for it before I took the pills and my results came back negative. If she had this before I met her, would my son have got it during birth and surley after 4 years, my test would have been positive?

I doubt your son got the Chlamydia infection. Taking medicine for Chlamydia if one partner has an infection is a precautionary measure to make sure that both partners get treated at the same time. This increases success rate in treating the infection.
