Exercise Induced Asthma05/27/2010 |
I have exercise induced asthma and it gets realy bad if I an also out in cold weather. I also have pulmonary hypertension. How can I tell which one is causing my symptoms and when to treat it?
That is a difficult situation. It is hard for me to make a comment without knowing more about how your diagnosis of exercise-induced asthma was made, how bad the asthma really is, and how bad your pulmonary hypertension is. You should always pre-medicate with albuterol before exercise if you have asthma. If that gives you relief, then the symptoms are more likely to be from asthma.
