Stroke

Stroke, Lacunar Infarct

06/07/2010

Question:

Hello,

I`m a 38 yr old female. I currently weigh 225 lbs, have a blood pressure typically in the range of 115/66 with no signs of diabetes as my lab results come back normal. I`ve had no strokes but do have painful headaches at least once a week that usually last several hours. I`m currently on 20 ml of Celexa. Mother has prehypertension and father has high blood pressure and diabetes.

I had an MRI in May 2010 and was told I have a 3mm in the right lacunar infarct and one on my left side of 1mm. I`m a bit confused as to what I`m reading on the internet because I don`t think I`ve had a stroke and I have never been told I have high blood pressure or diabetes other than my headaches. I do experience tingling at times through out my body but I`m not sure it`s related. Should I be worried? What do I need to do next? Would appreciate a reply.
