Causes of Yeast Infections

06/07/2010

Question:

I just got my fourth yeast infection in less than one year. I never had one before this past year. Even though I`ve changed to using fragrance-free products and laundry detergent, as my gyno suggested, I keep getting them. The only thing that is different in this year that I`ve been getting them is that I am now in a serious committed relationship. We have sex with condoms. My partner also uses baby powder around his penis to stay dry. What could be causing the imbalance of yeast in my body, the condoms or the baby powder? What other suggestions do you have? I am very miserable and would be very grateful for your help. Thank you for your time.
