Altitude Effects of COPD06/16/2010 |
my mother has recently moved to the mountains from a lower altittude and is in end stage of copd could this be speeding up the onset of the progression of this disease?
No, this would not speed up the progression of her disease. However, her oxygen requirement might be affected and she may need more oxygen at the higher altitude.
