Chronic Pain in Back Right Side Near Kidney06/28/2010 |
Your info on kidney pain was very helpful -- I don`t have sharp pain so I assume it is not a kidney stone. It is more of a localized dull pain (right side only) that comes when I have been sitting in a chair and the right side of my back touches the back of the chair. If I move forward so my back does not touch the chair, the pain goes away. It has been going on for many months, but it is not a harsh pain so I have not gone to a doctor. Any ideas about the cause?
You may have a musculoskeletal problem, such as a facet (spine joint)-mediated pain, a muscle related pain or a skin/subcutaneous tissue related problem. An examination by a physician is always necessary to help unravel the cause of the pain.
