Blister on Roof of Mouth06/30/2010 |
I have a blister/sore on the roof of my mouth that seems to never go away. Every time I eat, it seems to reappear. It goes away for a few days and then comes back - always in the same spot. It doesn`t really hurt. I`ve had ulcers before and this seems to be different. This looks more like a blister. Any ideas?
From your description, several possibilities come to mind. However, most are single occurrence lesions. Because of its recurrent nature, you need to visit your dentist or an oral pathologist. From your description, it sounds like a mucocele however, they are not found on the roof of the mouth. This is why you need to have a dental professional examine this lesion.
