Rheumatoid Arthritis and Weight Loss

06/29/2010

Question:

I have been in a really bad flare since April 2010. I have been eating alot more and types of food that I normaly would not eat but I am not gaining any weight. I have to eat alot more food just to maintane the weight that I am at. My GP already checked my thyroid and that was fine. I see my rheumatologist on July 14. Can an RA flare make you loss weight to this extent?
