Removal of Scars07/06/2010 |
I WAS PATIENT OF TB IN 1995. I HAVE COMPLETED THE COURSE .NOW MY CHEST X-RAY SHOWS SCARS .MY QUESTION IS THIS CAN THESE SCARS BE REMOVED ANY MEDICINE ? BECAUSE I HAVE TO JOIN AIR FORCE BUT DUE THIS I AM MEDICALLY UN-FIT . MY ALL THE TESTS ARE CLEARED AND I AM PHYSICALLY FIT .I WILL BE VERY THANKFUL TO YOU FOR YOUR REPLY.
There are no medicines to remove scars and surgery would just produce more scars. However, scars in the lung are physically silent and of no consequence. I suspect the Air Force is more concerned about the TB and not the residual scars.
